High-Definition Serial Digital Interface (HD-SDI) is a family of video interfaces used for broadcast-grade
video. It’s used for transmission of uncompressed, unencrypted digital video signals over point-to-point
coaxial cable links for video surveillance applications. HD-SDI protocol can transmit 720p or 1080p video.
