roves Academy, a private school that serves first through twelfth grade students with learning differences, has been given a boost by JSB Surveillance. The company outfitted the private academy with a high definition camera security system. The system provides an extra level of safety to the school’s faculty, staff, and students and is equipped with the latest security technology.

Groves Academy is a small private school that assists students with learning difficulties maximize their learning abilities and exceed education goals. The school has been in operation for 40 years serving the Greater St. Louis Park community. The academy was seeking to increase their school’s security to better serve the faculty and staff and protect its students and required a solution that was easy to use and allowed for high quality recordings that are accessible through an internal and external network while still being secure. Groves Academy opted to contract JSB Surveillance for the project.

When JSB began their work, they completed a few on-site visits to detail the needs and installation process for the Academy. “The camera setup provides Groves Academy with crystal clear recordings,” says JSB Surveillance Security Expert, Jon Benowitz. “The faculty now has the ability to view their cameras securely on their smartphone, tablets, and computers.” The company installed 63 IP high definition cameras, Geovision FD120 1.3 megapixel indoor dome cameras for the hallways, gym, school door entrances, and other indoor common areas, plus 17 outdoor Geovision BL120 1.3 megapixel bullet cameras to oversee the parking lot and other outdoor areas.
